‘Radio List’ delivers a clean view of the album art and playlist. You can press the ‘I’ button at the bottom of the window to launch information about the artist. The album music files are available on the right. ‘Cover List’ delivers a picture of the cover art. If you have multiple photos of the artist, then the ‘Artist Pictures’ mode creates a slideshow in the background. The ‘ Artist Pictures’ mode lets you see the lyrics on the right side of the window. The playback and volume control buttons will be on the album cover. The current timestamp will be visible on the album and artist artwork. The playlist tells you the title and duration of each song. The ‘Album and Artist’ view lets you see the album cover, tracklist, and artist picture. The design styles will be listed in the ‘Theatre Mode’ area. The ‘ Start Theatre Mode’ section should be marked. You can launch a new mode by tapping the main menu in the UI to hover above ‘View’. Theatre mode options can change the appearance of the user interface and the catalogue of formats is available on the website. Additional add-ons include the theatre mode and visualiser. Plugins are available to get lyrics for your music collection. The plugin list is on the MusicBee website and you can search for a plugin by using a tag as a keyword in the search bar. The ‘Add Skin’ and ‘Find More Skins’ buttons will let you install more designs. You can hover above certain skins that have arrows to get all the colour options. The current skin will have a checkmark beside the title. The ‘Skins’ option will open a context menu with the list of your skins. You can get to the ‘Skins’ menu by clicking on the MusicBee main menu to hover above ‘View’. The skins that you choose will be in the user interface. You can see a preview of the skin before you get the design.

MusicBee lets you drag and drop music from web browsers into the UI. You can sync your music library from your previous music player to MusicBee. You can submit your own add-on on the official website. These add-ons are created by the MusicBee community. While the platform is not open source, you can customise MusicBee with skins, plugins, and modes. Additionally, the application includes a collection of plugins that you can install for free.
